Year 9's successful fundraising endeavours continued on Monday 7th March with a very popular cake sale. Earlier this year, year 9 decided to fundraise for Derian House children's charity. In February, they sold Valentine's cards raising £80.50 and the cake sale raised a fantastic £171.30!
Many thanks to Mrs Mooney, Head of Year 9, and Mr Hewitt, Second in Mathematics, for organising the event. Thanks also to Mrs Smith, Teacher of Technology, for baking some amazing cakes and thanks to Miss Barker and year 9 pupils for volunteering on the day.
Finally thank you to all the parents, carers and pupils who supported the event by donating and baking cakes.
