Year 9 has decided to work together to raise money for the Derian House children's charity. They aim to complete as many charity events as possible over the remaining part of our academic year. During February, Mr Hewitt along with Jack, Ariel and a team of Year 9's sold Valentine's cards that pupils could send anonymously to someone in school. One of our school Christian values is 'love' and we work hard to promote and demonstrate these as often as possible. The total raised was £80.50, which is a fantastic amount.
Year 9 pupils have been asked to bake or donate cakes for a bake sale which will take place on Monday 7th March 2022. They hope to raise as much money as possible with the support of the pupils in our school. In the future, Year 9 hope to have a school bingo session and other fundraising activities.
