This week, in Collective Worship, we have been marking the start of Lent. This is a special time of year when we observe the 40 days that Jesus fasted in the wilderness and we start to look forward to Easter. We invite everyone to get to know God more during this time, by reading scripture and praying. There are some visual signs around school to remind us of Lent, these include crosses at the front of school and at the main entrance, which also has a prayer space tree. The tree has many suggestions of ways in which the pupils could serve their friends and neighbours over this time.

Following Collective Worship, all pupils will be making a Lenten promise and taking part in Lenten activities.
