We were delighted to welcome pupils from Broughton-in-Amounderness Church of England Primary School to school today. They have been taking part in a series of fun workshops with staff and pupils from our Performing Arts Department. They began the day with an engaging drama workshop, re-enacting scenes from the hit musical Matilda. They worked in small groups led by Miss Donnelly, Head of Drama, and pupils from Archbishop Temple. Next up, they took part in two singing and movement workshops with Miss Sherwood, Head of Performing Arts, learning songs from the award winning musical Newsies, as well as Matilda the Musical. They sounded fantastic and performed with such confidence!

Many thanks to all the pupils from Archbishop Temple Church of England High School who assisted with the workshops today, you did a great job.

This evening, they will showcase their the songs, drama and dance in a special concert at Archbishop Temple. The concert will also feature some of Archbishop Temple's extra-curricular clubs and soloists. Tickets are available to purchase at the link below or you can pay on the door.
