Thank you to our whole school community for your kind donations to our Harvest collection.

Throughout last week our pupils, parents and carers and staff took part in the Harvest festival by collecting food, such as pasta, rice, tinned food, packet noodles, biscuits, crisps, Long life juice and tea and coffee. Today Chaplain Andy will be distributing all of the kind donations to local churches and food banks that are supporting people in our community.

“Well done to everybody for serving and giving to our local community,” said Chaplain Andy. “It has been a great way to Shine God’s Light.”

On Friday, our year 7 pupils and Mrs Thompson, Teacher of Geography, had a lovely time harvesting apples from fruit trees on our school grounds. They collected an abundance of fruit which will be donated to the local churches and food banks.
