On Friday 30th September 2022, we will be supporting Jeans for Genes Day and inviting pupils to wear their jeans to school with their school uniform.

Like last year, pupils may wear jeans (no rips or tears) with their school shirt/blouse, tie, jumper and blazer. Trainers may be worn if pupils are wearing jeans. We are suggesting that those wearing jeans bring a donation of £1. We'll also be holding a cake sale to fundraise, so please bring some spare change for cakes!

The money raised on Jeans for Genes Day funds the work of the Genetic Disorders UK charity. It provides grants to organisations for projects that aim to transform the lives of children with genetic disorders. There are 500,000 children in the UK with genetic disorders.

Last year, pupils and staff raised a fantastic £417.87 for the charity, which made the running total for 7 years £36331.91. Let's see if we can top that!

Please note: This is not a non-uniform day. If pupils don't wish to wear jeans with their school uniform, they must come to school in full uniform. Many thanks.
