Jeans for Genes day – Friday 14th September 2018

Pupils are invited to wear as much denim as possible, in support of the Jeans for Genes charity. The charity raises money for the 500,000 children in the UK with Genetic Disorders.

£1 donation

This year pupils are allowed to wear non-uniform with their jeans.

If pupils are not wearing jeans, they must come into school in their uniform.

Trainers can be worn with jeans.

The event has been organised by Miss Catterall, Head of IT and Computing, whose 9 year old niece has the chromosome abnormality known as Isodicentric 15 (Idic 15). This has caused severe learning difficulties including autism, epilepsy, ADHD, abnormal development delay, speech and language delay and she now attends a special school in Morecambe.

Please encourage your child to wear jeans to help raise money for charity.
