On Tuesday 13th September 2016 the Music Department welcomed Andy Stott, head of the popular performance course at the Royal Northern College of Music, to deliver a masterclass to five pupils. Pupils in years10 and 11, taking GCSE music, had the opportunity to watch this incredibly informative session. As well as offering invaluable advice to our young musicians he talked about music in higher education and took questions from the pupils.
