Last week, the Archbishop Temple Engineers went to the EEP Robotics Challenge Final at The Big Bang STEM event at the NEC in Birmingham.
The team had to complete a variety of challenges including a speed challenge, where they weren't the speediest but the robot stayed on the track and there was no nudging needed. The robot rolled on the challenge mat, not quite as planned, but the team did great presenting the robot's design to the judges. The ATS Engineers' final teamwork challenge was to create a poster to encourage their peers to go into engineering. What a splendid job they did, as you can see below.
The team had a fantastic day, being one of 34 finalists from 350 schools to reach the final of EEP Robotics Challenge at the NEC in Birmingham.
This was the final year for the competition and Mrs McLean, Head of ICT and Computing, would like to thank everyone for their support over the past seven years of competitions.
